Hayes Farm was the venue for
Hucknall Rotary Club Fishing Match as members gathered to see who would finish
the afternoon being crowned the best angler in the club.
Lots were drawn to allocate
pegs and having no experience of fishing, I never realised how complex putting
a rod together was.
In a close finish Mel
Stanley did enough to beat off his nearest competitor, Ashley Maddock. Ashley, as Chair of the House, Sports &
Social committee presented Mel with the winners trophy.
