Nationally, Rotary is
organised into Districts with club leadership structures replicated at
international, national and district levels.
The District Governor (DG) and District Committee Chairmen also follow
the same pattern as the clubs they represent with a DG commencing and finishing
their term of office at the same time as the club presidents. Hucknall located in North Nottinghamshire,
England is in Rotary International District 1220 which covers the geographical
area comprising Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, South East Staffordshire and North
West Leicestershire. In this area there
are around 2,000 members of 58 clubs working together and giving “Service above
Self” in their local communities and worldwide.
PP Richard White had
represented our club at the District Governor’s Handover Lunch and had been
presented with the District Endeavour Award which he brought to the club
meeting on Tuesday 3rd July.

treatment.
